The Bank of Portugal has announced it expects loan requests to “increase slightly” between April and June.
The results of a recent survey directed at five banks operating in Portugal show that lenders expect an increase in demand for loans from both companies, for a “variety of reasons”, as well as the ‘man in the street’ who will seek credit to “buy homes and increase purchasing power”.
