The Open Media/Portugal Resident team held a successful “Living in the Algarve” event last Thursday, June 15 at the Cascade Resort in Lagos, with full seminar sessions and a busy day for all.
The events are held to provide information to people who are visiting the Algarve and looking to move to Portugal, featuring expert speakers on matters such as legal issues, taxation, healthcare, real estate and even education.
The events are also held in other countries around the world, promoting the whole country under the “Living in Portugal” banner and are organised by the Open Media Group, working in cooperation with government entities such as AICEP (the international trade arm of the government) and the Algarve tourism authority.
This week sees the team flying to San Francisco for this year’s second USA roadshow, starting this Thursday (June 22), followed by New York next Thursday June 27.

In addition to the USA events, Living in Portugal seminars will also be held in Johannesburg on November 11 and Cape Town on November 18.
