Livestock farmers demand measures against wolf attacks

Demanding measures to “minimise” the effects of wolf attacks on their animals, a group of livestock farmers from Terras de Bouro were scheduled to stage a protest in Braga on Thursday (March 26) after we went to press.

The farmers say the attacks are becoming “more frequent” and “closer to the population”, with many starting to fear for their own safety. They hope the Institute for Nature Conservation and Forestry (ICNF) will respond to their calls.
