São Brás museum will be hosting its second Arte Viva festival on July 11 and 12, featuring attractions for all members of the family.
The aim of this annual weekend long event is to blend the work of the region’s international creative artists, some of whom will be working live at the event, with other examples of live art in the form of music, theatre, fashion, and street artists, including jugglers, clowns and fire-eaters to culminate in a vibrant international festival of live entertainment.
Once again, the youth of the São Brás schools, who have taken part in the art competition entitled “Legends and Traditions”, will have their work on display during the weekend, forming an integral part of the festival.
Visiting children will also have the opportunity to practice their talents in a kid’s corner with a number of creative activities available to take part in.
A number of bands, with repertoires including world, Brazilian and 80s music among others, will also be playing.
International food, snacks and drinks will be available.
Entry costs four euros, with children up to the age of 12 years entering free.
Artists who would like to take part and have a stall at the festival to exhibit and sell their work are asked to call Vânia on 966 329 073.
