DJ Owen Gee and guitarist Daryl Bee provided the entertainment at last month’s English speaking ALFA (the association of literary friends of the Algarve) meeting.
The group’s second get-together of the year is at the Convento de S. José, Lagoa, on February 8.
The afternoon will begin at 2.30pm and local author and play-write David Butler Cole has been invited to join and present a brief outline on his approach to writing the film script for movie being made in the Algarve, The Right Juice.
On a musical note, folk singers Sue and Terry Moore and drummer Tony Scriven will also be present at the meeting. All are welcome to attend.
