Workers of Lisbon’s Metro have called another strike for Thursday, September 25. FECTRANS, the federation of transport and communications syndicates, mounted a partial strike last Wednesday, alleging lack of staff and internal problems that have lead to a “terrible service being offered to the public”. As we went to press, stations throughout the line were in lock-down, although plans were already underway to get the service moving again through the day.
