I was completely shocked to read this: the Portuguese government calling animal lovers and anti-bullfighting supporters fascists! Why? What is the position of this country concerning animal rights? To abandon, mistreat or poison animals!
Innocent animals cannot defend themselves, they need our responsibility. Why is the Portugese government not doing more for their animals? It is their responsibility and it is time to open their eyes.
My compliments to SOS Algarve Animals, they do an incredible job in spite of all the problems in this country concerning animal rights. Keep on going, the Portuguese animals need you so much.
Also my compliments to the mayor of Faro for offering animal lovers a free bus ride to Lisbon to protest! So good to read this!
