Lisbon plans two more ‘dissuasive’ car parks in 2024

Lisbon City Council plans to inaugurate two more ‘dissuasive car parks’ in 2024, in Pontinha and Lumiar, where non-residents will be able to leave their cars and use public transport to get into the city. The Pontinha Sul car park (387 spaces) and the Azinhaga da Cidade car park (165 spaces) are to be included in a new project that the vice-president of the municipality believes is “very important in terms of mobility policies” and which will be launched next year.
