Lisbon, Palmela and Famalicão are the top three exporters in Portugal, according to 2013 data released by the National Statistics Institute (INE).
Lisbon leads the list of exporters, with €7.4 billion worth of goods exported last year, followed by Palmela (€1.9 billion) and Famalicão (€1.6 billion).
Porto didn’t even make it onto the top 10, exporting just €1.07 billion worth of goods, and not one Algarve municipality featured in the top 20.
