Lisbon extends shelter for homeless as temperatures remain cold

Lisbon City Council has announced the extension of the Contingency Plan for Homeless People in Cold Weather until Wednesday due to low-temperatures continuing for the next few days. In a statement released today, the municipality announced the support structure that brings together several entities and was created on 24 January will remain active for this plan, which includes the existence of seven locations where Technical Street Teams carry out the referral of rough sleepers to the Pavilhão Municipal Manuel Castel Branco.
