Lisbon City desertion

LISBON CONTINUES to lose inhabitants as more families are choosing to relocate to the suburbs, according to a study.

The report by Imométrica, a company that compiles information about the real estate sector, details population shifts in Lisbon, in conjunction with real estate patterns. It concluded that more people are moving out of the city, to the north and to Cascais in the west. More than 23,000 cases were analysed, of which 71 per cent were moves out of the city.
