Bairro da Boavista near Monsanto in Lisbon hosted a very interesting football match recently, between Lisbon Câmara and the Golden Oldies of Sport Lisboa e Benfica (SLB). Câmara President and captain of his team, Carmona Rodrigues, proudly led his side onto the astro turf pitch, while SLB captain for the day, Paulo Madeira, led his team of bygone stars, with names such as Álvaro, Abel, Artur, Pereirinha, Margaça, Teixeirinha, Vitor Henriques, Jerónimo, Dimas and Jorge Silva. On the subtitutes bench sat coach Armando Gonçalves, Gomes, Pedrosa, José Carvas, Júlio, Pacheco and Teixeira. The referee was none other than Máximo Afonso, 79 years young.
