The artistic event is held at the Palacete Gomes Freire this weekend, as LISBON DESIGN WEEK attracts art and design lovers to various locations across the city.
LISBON BY DESIGN returns to Palacete Gomes Freire for a third edition with numerous artists, artisans, studios and galleries taking crafts and design to a new level.
Unique pieces of superior quality created especially for LISBON BY DESIGN, a contemporary approach, are on display this weekend courtesy of the 19 participants.
This year, LISBON BY DESIGN will run parallel to a new event, LISBON DESIGN WEEK – created in partnership with From My City. Focusing on Portuguese creativity and objects made in Portugal, this first edition features a diversified programme with a series of events organised by around 50 partners spread across various Lisbon neighbourhoods.
The event includes exclusive presentations, new collections, lectures, masterclasses, open studios, guided tours, and exhibitions.
Participants include design studios and showrooms, renowned and emerging galleries, private spaces, artisans and producers, former LISBON by DESIGN participants and cultural and artistic educational institutions.
Taking place simultaneously in various locations, the LISBON DESIGN WEEK events are open to the public, with many being free of admission.
