Lisbon airport to get €40 million ‘oil pipeline’ by 2021

Private entities are to stump up €40 million for a fuel pipeline serving Lisbon airport.

The news came from environment minister João Pedro Matos Fernandes less than two months since the country was ‘almost held to ransom’ by a strike by fuel transport drivers (click here).

Said Matos Fernandes, the pipeline should be constructed by the end of 2021.

For now, the private entities have not been named.
