Lisbon airport expects to see 65 flights ‘cancelled’ from Saturday’s schedules

News from ANA airports authority early today was that 32 flights in and out of Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado city air terminus were due to be cancelled over the next 24-hours, as a result of a “series of constraints in European airports”. A source for ANA said the affected flights were 18 incoming and 14 outgoing, involving flights to and from destinations like Tanger, Porto, Sal, Bratislava, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Frankfurt, Rome, Recife and Casablanca. Since then, the numbers have continued to rise, and the destinations to increase. Anyone due to fly in or out of Lisbon today is advised to check with their airline company in case schedules have been changed. The majority of flights affected, writes Lusa, are those operated by TAP.
