THE LIONS Clube de Loulé is a charity dedicated to helping the local community. Funds raised over the last year have provided the bombeiros of Loulé with six full fire-protection suits and six more are awaiting presentation.
To help the bombeiros continue, the Lions hold sales of nearly new clothes, shoes, linen, bric-a-brac and books. The next sale is on Sunday, February 19, from 10am to 1pm, at the Centro Comunitário in Almancil. Admission is free and refreshments are available.
The last sale, in November, raised 480 euros and the Lions wish to express their appreciation to everyone who supported them.
