Linen Warehouse opens in Guia

Linen Warehouse has announced the opening of their new store at the Albufeira Retail Park located in Guia.

The company decided to open its second store, which is “more central”, after realising that due to rising costs of fuel and tolls on the A22, people are not willing to travel from the west of the Algarve as far as Almancil, where their other store is located.

Linen Warehouse claims to have the “widest selection of linen and towels in the Algarve”.

A spokesman from the company said: “We now also buy, from the north of Portugal, beautiful soft spun 100% cotton sheets and pillowcases and a luxury sateen 200 thread cotton with silver or natural piping on the flat sheets and pillowcases, which add a touch of class to the pristine white background.

“We also have a new pair of pillows in stock – Coolnights pillows with a silver thread woven into the polycotton cover which conduct heat so that the fabric stays cooler, and the Oriental box stitched pillow which has a deep structure for added comfort, a luxurious pure cotton cambric cover with piped stitched edge and is on special promotion at €13 each while stocks last.

Their range of mattress and pillow protectors in microfibre are marketed as being cooler in summer and warm in winter. “They are fully fitted and manufactured to size for both UK and European sizes, which are slightly bigger than our standard range to accommodate the bigger sized beds which can go up to 2 metres x 2 metres,” said the company.

New designs of duvet covers and bedspreads “with prices to suit all budgets” are also available.
