Members of the Benef*actors theatre group will be presenting the Nicky Moran comedy Lights Out at the Lethes theatre in Faro from February 18 to 20.
The group, which performs for charitable funds, will be donating all proceeds from the performances to the Euro4Rod campaign, which is providing support to help the Smyth family after the death of Rod Smyth last year.
Meanwhile, the production will also be dedicated to the memory of Jenny Dackombe, a member of the group who died in October 2010, shortly before the play was originally due to open in Lagoa.
The current cast of Lights Out comprises some of the original 2006 cast with some new faces in the play, which explores the growth of human relationships between four women who meet in the ladies room of a hospital.
There will be two evening performances of the play on February 18 and 19 from 8pm with a matinee performance on February 20 from 3pm.
Tickets cost €12 for adults and €7 for students.
