LISBON IS to be one of 1,000 cities across the world to join in the Earth Hour campaign.
In 2009, Earth Hour aims to reach more than one billion people in 1,000 cities, including Lisbon. Campaigners are asking everyone to switch off their lights for one hour at 8.30pm on Saturday March 28 as part of a global message about the importance of climate change.
