A new exhibition by local artist Jessica Dunn begins tomorrow (August 14) at 6pm, in the Galeria de Arte da Praça do Mar, in Quarteira.
Critics have described Jessica’s latest oils as ‘vibrant’ – and they certainly reflect the Algarvean sun, sea and luminosity. Images of children playing on the beach are painted in a lively and colourful palette, creating enchanted and spontaneous images. The paintings of musicians and dancers are equally appealing – full of humour and life.
Jessica adopted Portugal as her home in 1986 and lives here with her Portuguese husband and two children, whom, she claims, are a constant source of inspiration.
