An event to inform the public about the liberalised electricity market in Portugal is taking place at Albufeira Câmara on January 16 from 9.30am to 12 noon. Residents will be able to learn about what will change in their electricity bill during the transitional period until the energy market is fully deregulated in 2015, and how to proceed about changing to a power supplier in the liberalised market. Those wishing to attend the free event should register their interest with the câmara.
