Let’s Walk around the lakeside

This is a beautiful early morning walk that takes you through the countryside and around the edge of the lake at the Barragem da Bravura. The walk is moderately easy and everyone is welcome (there is a charge offour euros for charity). All the tracks and paths are good, so trainers or a comfortable pair of outdoor shoes are all you need, together with some water. To accommodate those who may have never been walking before and want to have a ‘go’, we are offering two walks – one for just under 90 minutes and a full walk of two and a half hours. 9.00am start: meet at the car park by the ‘O Recanto’ restaurant above the Barragem da Bravura. From the A22 come off at the exit for Odiaxere and drive into Odiaxere. At the lights in the centre of the village, turn right and follow the road for about 5km to the ‘Barragem’.
