Sheraton Algarve Hotel & Pine Cliffs Resort announced earlier this week British music star Leona Lewis as the headline performer for their 2014 Summer Gala. The glamorous event will take place on August 8 at the Pine Cliffs Golf Academy in Albufeira.
Leona Lewis, winner of hit UK television show The X-Factor in 2006, has sold over 20 million albums worldwide, and is the first British female solo artist to record eight UK top five singles. The star has won numerous industry awards, including two MOBO Awards, an MTV Europe Music Award, an MTV Video Music Award and two World Music Awards. She is also a six-time Brit Awards and three-time Grammy Award nominee. This summer she is set to make her big screen debut, starring in the new musical film Walking On Sunshine.
The Sheraton Algarve & Pine Cliffs Resort Summer Gala began in 1996 and over the years, hosted many of music’s most famous artists, such as Gloria Gaynor, Lionel Richie, Michael Bolton, Joe Cocker, Kool and The Gang, Ne-Yo, becoming one of most iconic events in the Algarve.
This year there is a number of ticket options, with standing prices starting from €45 per person, ranging to €595 per person for the Platinum Package, which includes a fine dining set menu with cocktails, a premium prize give away and access to the after party.
Commencing with a cocktail at 7.30pm, followed by dinner an hour later, guests will enjoy the resort’s fine dining before the concert starts at 10.30pm. Ticket holders will then be treated to a grand finale firework display at midnight, before moving to the after party at the resort’s Japanese restaurant, Yakuza.
