THE RECENT opening of the new Lendário restaurant and bar on Quarteira’s beach front attracted many illustrious guests from the world of Portuguese football, including international star Rui Costa who currently plays for AC Milan.
This trendy new restaurant and bar, which enjoys marvellous sea views, is the latest venture from Garvetur e Empresas Associadas, a group that already enjoys a strong presence in the Algarve due to its real estate business interests, among others.
Other well known figures on the country’s football scene, such as Vitor Pontes, José Nascimento and José Veríssimo, were also in attendance as well as the presidents of local football clubs Louletano, Portimonense and Olhanense.
President of Loulé Câmara, Seruca Emídio, and the President of the Junta de Freguesia de Quarteira, José Mendes, were also present, along with various high profile business people from the region.
