‘Learning through play’ is the subject of the next lecture organised by the International School of the Algarve. Taking place on Friday, January 24, in the Silves Municipal Library at 9pm, the presentation will be given by Susana Ferreira, a pre-school teacher with a Masters in Education Sciences.
Susana Ferreira has been a pre-school teacher for 20 years and has built her professional and academic career trying to improve children’s education. She is a member of the child protection commission and a certified professional trainer in Pedagogical Relationships.
During the lecturer, Susana will share her vast experience with parents and other teachers, explaining the importance and advantages of teaching children through play.
The teacher will be addressing the audience in Portuguese. Admission is free and no prior booking is required.
All lectures organised by the International School of the Algarve take place in public places and are open to the local communities.
