THE NUMBER of senior students interested in learning IT and English has grown in Portugal for the last five years.
This prompted the launch of a Senior Virtual University on Tuesday in Lisbon.
The project is part of a wider programme, RUTIS a senior’s universities network which already has 85 facilities spread through the country, and is aimed at older people who want to keep on learning after retirement.
