A 10-day Portuguese beginner’s course starts next month in the language school Centro de Línguas de Lagos.
This course gives students a solid grounding in Portuguese. The focus is on making sure students have the Portuguese they need to fit into the local culture.
“The teacher is Portuguese, but explains anything in English when necessary. The course is for a small group (4 to 8 students) so the teacher can easily focus on the requirements of each student,” said the school in a press statement. The course is from March 24 to April 4. It has 30 lessons, with three lessons each weekday morning: 10.10am to 1pm.
A pre-intermediate course runs from May 5 to June 6. This is ideal for students who have taken the beginner’s course or who have already learnt some Portuguese. This 30-lesson course lasts five weeks, with two lessons on Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 11.10am to 1pm.
The school, which accredited by the Portuguese Ministry of Education, can be found in the historical centre of Lagos, with easy parking nearby.
