Have you ever worried that you don’t know how to help people in medical emergencies?
Well, now’s the chance to change all that. Health professionals from INEM will be giving a Basic Life Support (BLS) demonstration, free of charge, at AlgarvesShopping in Guia on Saturday February 22.
People will be shown how to perform special resuscitation techniques involving mouth-to-mouth and chest compressions.
Three demonstrations have already taken place in Lisbon, Matosinhos and Leiria, empowering more 350 people with new skills and confidence.
Anyone is welcome (any age). All that is required is that people show up “a little before the scheduled time” (11am).
The initiative is backed by the Sonae retail group.
