A demonstration on how to make “octopus confit on a bed of sweet potato and red pepper coulis” will be held at Tavira’s municipal museum this Saturday (July 16) from 10.30am.
The workshop will be led by Chef Jorge Rodrigues and nutritionist Laura Silvestre, who will offer some insight into the nutritional values of the dish.
There is only room for 20 people, so anyone interested should sign up without delay.
The event is part of the municipality’s Mediterranean Diet programme, which aims to promote activities related to the UNESCO-prized diet and other traditions in Tavira.
