If you have recently rescued or taken in an abandoned dog and would like to learn some training tips, then this is the perfect workshop. Organised by animal protection association CIAA (Combate à Indiferença e Abandono Animal) next weekend (April 18-19) in Faro, it promises to teach people how to improve their four-footed friend’s behaviour.
The goal is to increase the “success rate” of dog ‘adoptions’.
Taking place at Sociedade Recreative Artística Farense – Os Artistas between 10.30am and 6.30pm, the event will be led by CIAA founder and dog trainer Cláudia Estanislau.
Enrolment costs €40 with a discount to €30 for people who have adopted dogs from CIAA.
