Two seminars designed to shed more light on the complexities of Portugal’s “local lodging” (alojamento local) laws will be held in Portimão and Faro this Wednesday and Thursday (November 25 and 26).
Local lodging is Portugal’s regime to make renting your home to holidaymakers a legal and apparently swifter process.
The Portimão seminar will take place at the town’s museum, while in Faro it will be held at the Hotelier and Tourism School. They will both begin at 4pm.
Anyone can attend for free but you must first sign up via email ([email protected]) or the website of ALEP, the country’s local lodging association (www.alep.pt/agenda).
