League action

Olhanense return to league action tomorrow (Saturday) when they travel to fifth place Rio Ave. The northern Portugal side may well have new loan signing Bébé on display. Bébé (pictured) was signed by Sir Alec Ferguson two years ago for a reported €9 million from V.Guimarães without the Manchester United boss having seen him play! He scored a goal on his debut in the UEFA Champions League away at Bursaspor in November 2010. In April 2012, Bébé was then loaned to Beşiktaş (Turkey) but was subsequently banished from the Beşiktaş squad after breaking a team curfew and staying out until the early hours of the morning of a game.

A strange journey

Two years ago Olhanense signed a young centre-back Henrique from SC Feirense, but before he had even pulled on the famous red & black striped shirt he was sold to SC Braga.Os Arsenalistas then loaned him back to Feirense. Last summer, after buying out his Braga contract, Henrique joined Académica on a two-year deal. However, in the last minutes of the summer transfer window he moved to the Football League Championship with Blackburn Rovers, where he joined former Braga team-mate Nuno Gomes. It is now reported that Henrique could eventually join Olhanense on loan until the end of the season.
