A very lucky punter in the Algarve has become the region’s latest millionaire after winning €15 million in Tuesday’s draw of the Euromillions lottery.
The winning ticket – with the numbers 11, 14, 26, 29 and 49 and the stars 3 and 9 – was registered in Olhão.
There is still no news, however, of who the prize went to, nor whether it has been claimed.
Two other people in Portugal also won €36,000 each as part of the lottery’s third prize.
