Now’s your last chance to book a unique experience with the one-off “Dinner in the Sky” event that will take place at the Quinta do Lago resort this Sunday (August 7), from 9am to 11pm.
Described as “the world’s most extravagant meal”, the event will give brave people an opportunity to enjoy breakfast, champagne, cocktails, a sunset snack and dinner as well as fantastic views of the Quinta do Lago lake and Ria Formosa, while sitting at a “flying table” 54 metres away from the ground!
The event begins with a ‘Healthy Brekkie”, including 45 minutes of yoga followed by a continental breakfast in the sky. Price is €70, with two sessions starting at 8am and 9am.
The next trip to the sky is for a glass of champagne at 12 noon, and then later at 12.50pm. Price is €30.
At 5pm and 6.05pm, the flying table will be used again for a cocktail and food pairing party, including amuses bouche and finger food from the Bovino Steakhouse and The Shack. Cost is €100.
Later at 7.10pm and 8.15pm, a sunset party will be held with cocktails and finger food courtesy of Casa do Lago and Casa Velha as well as a live music performance. Cost is €150.
Finally, the much-anticipated ‘Dinner in the Sky’ will be held between 9.30pm and 11pm at the price of €250.
