WIN a free entry to FIESA 2012 on May 25 with the Algarve Resident!
FIESA 2012, considered the largest sand sculpture festival in the world, is opening to the public today (Friday, May 25) and the Algarve Resident is offering its readers the chance to enter the event FOR FREE!
Held for the 10th consecutive year in Pêra, the sand sculpture exhibition is this year taking the theme of ‘Idols’ as a tribute to notable celebrities – either cinema or sports stars, fashion icons or politicians – who have left a mark on society.
This year, a new layout of the exhibition space will be presented, with visitors able to admire the show from a different dimension, with pathways constructed through the actual sculptures, some of which will reach a height of 12 metres.
