Larger classrooms

Parents are opposing a government measure to increase the number of students per classroom. The Confederação Nacional de Associações de Pais (CONFAP), the national confederation of parents’ associations, says it is preparing a letter to send to the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister, contesting the recent proposal that would see the number of students per class rise from the current 28 to 30. The CONFAP accuses the government of not placing focus on quality education.
