Large tree falls on brand new police station

A tree of “large proportions” has fallen onto the roof of a brand new GNR police station in Fânzeres, Gondomar. The station, which cost roughly half a million euros to build, has not even had time to officially open. Everything indicates that the tree ‘fell’ during pruning operations on private land adjacent to the building, writes Correio da Manhã, adding that right now, GNR police are installed in a nearby building with “limited operational facilities”.
