LAPS opens new charity shop in Lagos

THE LAGOS Animal Protection Society (LAPS) has recently opened a new charity shop at EdifĂcio Panorama on Travessa Vasco da Gama (behind the Lagos bus station, close to the key cutting kiosk). The shop is open seven days a week from 10am to 4pm.

LAPS has been established in Lagos since 1980 and so far has rescued, rehabilitated and cared for more than 5,000 animals. The people running LAPS believe that sterilisation is the only humane way to reduce the number of unwanted animals, and so were the first to set up a sterilisation programme to help with costs. They never put an animal to sleep and those animals whom they are unable to home remain in their care for the rest of their lives.

All proceeds from the shop go towards the sterilisation programme and helping the many homeless and cruelly treated animals. Please help these animals by donating any articles for sale at the new shop.

If you wish to home an animal, or would like more information about the new shop, call 282 687 334 or 916 547 029.
