MAY DAY in Bordeira, Santa Bárbara de Nexe, will be celebrated with a Lamb Barbecue Party.
The meat will start cooking early in the day and people will be invited to taste the special flavour of barbecued lamb.
After lunch, visitors will be invited to a music performance by Portuguese group Zé Maria & Amigos. The party will be held at the Bordeira football pitch.
