Lagos Zoo welcomes Loulou and Kika

Two female chimpanzees are the latest addition to Lagos Zoo, joining the 500 other animals that live at the park.

The females are awaiting the arrival of a male later this spring and will have some time to get familiar with their new home and meet the other primates of the zoo. Loulou (pictured) and Kika are originally from the African continent.

Opened in November 2000, Lagos Zoo has 140 species of animals and 200 plant species from five continents.
