A new leisure park where people can exercise, play chess, table tennis, or just take a rest has been inaugurated in Lagos near the Júlio Dantas high school.
The construction of this park was part of a larger €250,000 project to renovate public areas on Rua Filarmónica 1ºde Maio and Rua Cooperativa Chesgal.
The aim is to give citizens an outdoor space where they can exercise using ‘street workout’ machines or play other sports such as table tennis and pétanque.
An outdoor amphitheatre to host cultural events has also been built.
