Lagos always comes up in conversation when the subject is “where to spend New Year’s Eve in the Algarve?” And this year there is another good reason to choose Lagos as Angolan singing sensation Anselmo Ralph has been announced as the headlining performer for the New Year’s party.
The 38-year-old has become a major success story in Portugal, where he has gained a large fanbase. His singles are always top of national charts and he even joined the panel of judges at RTP’s The Voice Portugal.
His concert, which is certain to attract thousands of people, will begin at 10.30pm at Praça do Infante and be followed by a “spectacular fireworks show” at midnight and entertainment by DJ Valex.
