Lagos’ municipal assembly has unanimously approved a motion condemning the government’s “inertia” in finding an “adequate” police station for the borough’s GNR police force.
As the municipal assembly pointed out, the government agreed in May 2013 that the current station – located at the back of an old convent in the historic centre – is “run down” and “far from offering good working conditions” – yet it still hasn’t found a solution to the problem.
