The municipality of Lagos has increased the number of services it provides remotely via its Virtual Desk. The modernisation of these processes aims to simplify access for citizens and increase administrative efficiency, says the municipality.
“In addition to consulting and downloading applications, the new online service platform allows you to complete them and, for registered users, to submit applications directly via the internet”, said the municipality in a statement.
The new electronic tools, available since March 1, enable users to avoid travel and other associated costs and automates internal procedures, opening “another door for citizens to interact with economic agents”. It also increases the “electronic submission of applications, moving progressively towards total dematerialisation”.
The municipality also stresses that applications related to urban and related operations are now submitted exclusively through this platform.
