A prestigious gold award was presented to the Lagos Marina by The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA) last month in recognition of its high standards.
The association provides support for marinas and related businesses throughout the UK and internationally and the Gold Anchor Award Scheme assesses various aspects of a marina for quality of facilities and services.
The ratings range from one to the maximum five gold anchors.
“Lagos Marina is the ideal holiday destination for active water sports enthusiasts who can experience the best of the Portuguese coasts and enjoy top level customer care,” said Mieke Vleugels, the Gold Anchor assessor.
Manager of the 462-berth marina, Ingrid Fortunato, said: “We are delighted with the award, which reflects our commitment to maintaining high standards. The award is a tribute to the work of our team which is to be congratulated for their keenness to succeed.”
“Our guests help us daily in our task of improving, giving suggestions, participating in our events and spreading the word about our fantastic facilities and services,” she concluded.
