Lagos Câmara is to apply for a bank loan of around €700,000 to meet the financial costs of several projects, including a sports pavilion and a swimming pool.
It also needs the cash for the conservation and management of the city’s cultural centre, a new arts school, municipal buildings and the municipal museum.
Credit offers from several banks are now being studied, with the final proposal subject to the approval of the Court of Auditors.
