Maré D'Arte

Luz hosts Maré D’Arte on July 1 and 2

The networking and artisan entrepreneurship event will take place in the Largo da Fortaleza between 18:00 and 24:00.

The first edition of Maré D’Arte, a unique event combining entrepreneurship, crafts, and music in a relaxed atmosphere by the sea, is being held in Luz (Lagos) on July 1 and 2, in the Largo da Fortaleza da Luz, between 18:00 and 24:00.

Promoted by (A)Garra – Associação Jovem de Lagos, with the support of the Lagos Municipality, Parish Council of Luz, Multi, Fábrica do Empreendedor de Lagos and Adega da Marina, the event offers an innovative and refreshing experience for “young adults who value quality of life, entrepreneurship, networking and leisure, in a summer and beach environment”.

The initiative also features the participation of the Municipality’s entrepreneurship structures, highlighting synergies and partnerships with resident entrepreneurs.

Aimed at a young adult audience between 25 and 40 years old, Maré D’Arte also aims to celebrate creativity, skill and innovation and an opportunity to develop and promote micro-enterprises, such as handicrafts, boosting the local economy.

During the evening networking event, visitors will have the opportunity to discover and appreciate the talent of numerous entrepreneurs who will display products handmade with love and great skill. Food trucks will also be onsite to provide a pleasant gastronomic experience for all visitors, and admission is free.

«We are excited to launch Maré D’Arte in our municipality», says Diogo Rodrigues, president of (A)Garra – Associação Jovem de Lagos, adding: «We want to offer a perfect weekend for our visitors so that they can have fun with family or friends, enjoy unique handcrafted products, try delicious dishes from food trucks and create valuable connections through networking».
