An art and multimedia exhibition to celebrate World Wetlands Day – and raise awareness about the citizens’ movement to protect Alagoas Brancas from the threat of development – will take place on Thursday, February 2 at Lagoa’s Convent’Bio store.
Starting at 2.30pm, the event will be attended by biologist Dr Manfred Temme, professor Luís Palma from environmental association Almargem, Domingos Leitão and Alexandra Lopes from Portuguese bird society SPEA and architect and local activist Lucinda Caetano.
