The last session of Lagoa Wine Experiences will take place on Saturday, November 12, giving wine lovers a last chance to sign up for a wine-filled day.
The meeting point will be Carlos do Carmo auditorium at 10.30am, from where participants will be taken to Quinta dos Santos, a family-owned and operated wine farm and craft brewery nestled between Carvoeiro and Ferragudo.
Lunch will be served at Quinta da Palmeirinha, a farm which is said to be linked to the start of Lagoa’s winemaking traditions. The property has been owned for over a century by the same family, which has always produced its own wines. The Algarve’s oldest vineyard, which dates back to 1942, is said to be located at the farm.
The final session of 2022 will come to an end at Única Adega Cooperativa do Algarve. The closing party will allow guests to try several wines and also visit the historic building, another landmark of the local winemaking sector.
Tickets cost €45 and can be purchased online at www.bol.pt, at Fnac, Worten, CTT, Lagoa’s Balcão Único, Carlos do Carmo auditorium and São José convent.
