The first Lagoa Piano Festival will take place from November 6 to 8 and will bring two recitals, a three-day masterclass and a closing concert to the town’s Convento de São José auditorium.
The event will begin with a piano recital by Jeferson Mello from the Lagoa Art Conservatory, who will be paying tribute to the works of Beethoven on Friday, November 6 at 7pm.
A day later at the same time, up-and-coming pianist Eduardo Vida Larga and Inês Leite will take the stage to showcase their talent.
A “piano technique and interpretation” masterclass led by distinguished pianist Álvaro Teixeira Lopes will also be held throughout the event. On the last day, participants will perform in the festival’s closing concert.
Admission is free to the recitals, while prices for the masterclass range from €10 to €45.
